Decks are shipped!

Hi there,

Hooray! All of your Beer Decks have been mailed!

You likely got a shipping notification in your email this morning, with the subject "Your Font/Design Deck has shipped". Not to worry, your package contains your Beer Deck – that was just a glitch in the system. Another oopsie was that the emails should have gone out on December 1, as that's when your decks were actually mailed. So rest assured that your Beer Decks will be arriving on your doorstep sometime soon.

I've started received photos from people in the US who have received their packages, which is so awesome. If you're making any posts about your decks, feel free to tag @thebeerdeck on Instagram.

If you haven't received a shipping email, feel free to send me a message at [email protected], and I'll look into it. There are still a few people who haven't filled out their address survey, so please send me an email if you need help with that.

Shipping Update

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans out there! 

In Beer Deck news, the shipment of decks has arrived at our distributor! 📦  Due to Thanksgiving closures and Black Friday insanity, your decks will actually be sent out on December 1. You'll receive an email with tracking details when your package is sent.

Production Update

Hi folks,

I just received an update from our manufacturer, and due to Covid-induced challenges, the Beer Deck completion date has been pushed off a bit. But only by 10 days! 

So we're still on track to get the decks in-hand by November 23, which means that those of you in the USA should get your decks by the end of November, and those elsewhere will receive them a week or two into December. Sorry about the wait! Thanks for bearing with us while we try our best to get these decks to you promptly!

If this delay changes where you'd like your decks shipped, that's not a problem! You can either edit your address in your Backerkit survey by clicking on the link in your email, or email me at [email protected], and I'll update it for you.

There are still some folks who haven't yet filled out their address survey. If you're one of those, and you haven't received your survey, send me an email and I'll hook you up!

Thanks so much for your patience as we get the Beer Deck produced. We promise it will be worth the wait! 🍻

Address surveys sent!

Hi folks,

It's time to let us know where you'd like us to send your Beer Decks! You should have just received an email from Backerkit, with a link to the address survey. 

There, you'll provide your mailing address, and you can add some extra decks to your package if you'd like. And for those who chose to receive a mixture of different decks, you'll get to choose how many of each.

Manufacturing update

I just received an update from our manufacturer; the cards are printed and cut, and the tuck cases have been printed, folded, and glued! The final stage is happening now, which involves putting the cards into the cases, and sealing the cases in a safety sleeve. This will be finished by early November, and sent to us shortly after. So we expect to be shipping these decks to you mid-November!

Another Deck

In other news, I just launched another deck of cards on Kickstarter: The Money Deck.

It's a playful guide to Personal Finance – covering saving, investing, retirement, credit, common money mistakes, and more. I worked on this one with my financially enlightened friend Nicholas Fleming, MBA, and the illustrations were done by the massively talented Jori Bolton.
